David J. Sire is a Board-Certified Surgeon and Dermatologist in Newport Beach with a passion for revitalizing skin health. He is the Medical Director and Founder of Advanced Skincare Surgery & MedCenter. Since 1971 he has dedicated his career to applying medical technology and proven techniques to treat men, women and children.
Dr. Sire is a noted authority on the use of lasers and light sources. A frequent lecturer and panelist at medical meetings, he is regularly called upon to train other physicians on his treatment techniques. Dr. Sire pioneered the use of saline injections to treat acne scars and other scars and has developed several specialty skincare products. The author of ten published papers, Dr. Sire has been quoted in national magazines, including Glamour and InStyle, and has appeared on several radio and television programs.

Graduating from the University of California Irvine in June 1967, Dr. Sire completed his internship at the Naval Hospital in St. Albans, New York the following year. He was a resident at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital from 1968-1971, which included a Fellowship year at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. From 1972-1974, Dr. Sire practiced medicine at the Naval Medical Center in Long Beach California where he served as Chief of Dermatology. Upon completion of his naval service, he began private practice at the Fullerton Medical Clinic of Dermatology in Fullerton, California. Dr. Sire is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Sire’s community involvement has helped women, men and children. He provides dermatological care to Crittenton Services for children and families. He’s affiliated with the Fullerton Police Department and helps remove tattoos from former convicts. Dr. Sire is part of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery program that cares for women who have survived domestic violence. He also participates in Sculptra Patient Access Program for HIV patients. Dr. Sire is also a deacon in the Roman Catholic Church and treats clergy from all religious affiliations at no charge.
Dr. Sire served as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, Irvine from 1971-1986 and from 2006-2008. He is a fellow of the American College of Phlebology, the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Sire also is a member of the Orange County Medical Association, the Orange County Dermatology Society, the Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Sire is also affiliated with St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California since 1974.
