LEDs work by stimulating cells in the skin to produce collagen.
Unlike lasers and IPLs, LED systems work non-thermally (without heating the skin tissues), so that they do not destroy or injure the tissue. This means that they are very safe and can be used by most people with any skin type.

LED delivers pure, non
laser, narrowband red or blue light via a matrix of light emitting
diodes, carefully positioned to ensure a uniform emission. With
the Omnilux Red light, we apply a special photosensitizing agent
to enhance its ability to penetrate the skin. The light is safer
than daylight because it excludes any harmful UV or Infrared
light. Omnilux LED is neither a laser nor an intense pulse light
(IPL).
