Aiding the Community

In an effort to prevent serious skin diseases, Dr. Sire conducts free community screenings for moles and sun damage. He also has been providing free dermatological care to residents of the local Florence Crittenton shelter since 1997 and removing tattoos for gang members attempting to start a new life through his affiliation with the Fullerton Police Department.

Dr. Sire also donates his services to care for women who have survived domestic violence by performing surgery as part of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery S.C.O.R.E.S. (Skincare Outreach Empowers Survivors) program for women who otherwise could not afford these services. In addition, he shares his gift for restoring natural facial contours by participating in the Sculptra Patient Access Program. He injects Sculptra dermal filler in HIV patients who have sunken cheeks and eyes. These patients are able to receive up to six treatments over an 18-month period if warranted. A permanent Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church since 1979, Dr. Sire treats clergy from all religious affiliations without charge.
