Ben Behnam, MD

Ben Behnam is a dermatologist who specializes in treating men, women and children. He joins Advanced Skincare MedCenter to support the growing demands of our medical practice.  In addition to treating skin conditions, he also performs Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer patients.

Dedicated to research and sharing his knowledge, Dr. Behnam has contributed to several medical papers published in the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology and American Medical Association.  He has been involved in several major research and clinical trial projects including a trial to assess LED Photo therapy for the prevention of post-radiation dermatitis. 

Dr. Behnam gives freely of his time by volunteering as the
Co-leader of the UCLA AIDS Awareness Campaign and Founder and Director of the annual UCLA Blood Drive Campaign. 

Dr. Behnam’s warmth and energy helps to put patients of all ages at ease.  He treats a wide variety of skin conditions and diseases including:

Training and Affiliations

Graduating from the University of California Irvine school of medicine in 2004, Dr. Behnam was Dermatology intern at the University of California (UCLA) Internal Medicine program for one year before pursuing his residency at the University of California, Irvine Department of Dermatology.
