The breakthrough fractionated CO2 laser technology makes it possible to customize treatments to address varying skin needs at different ages.
Pigment FX
For patients in their 30s who want a more even complexion, Pigment FX is ideal. In just a day or two your skin will heal and you no longer see the discoloration caused by exposure to the sun and aging.
Active FX
By age 40 fine lines and wrinkles typically appear so the Active FX treatment penetrates deeper into the skin to erase these early signs of aging. Recovery time is typically three to five days.
Deep FX
People in their 50s benefit from the Deep FX treatment which reduces the appearance of scars, deep lines around the mouth and skin growths and stimulates collagen production to tighten the skin without surgery. This targeted, concentrated treatment covers small areas with even deeper penetration than the Active FX treatment but requires only two to three days of healing time.
Total FX
Ideal for patients in their 60s, this comprehensive treatment provides the most dramatic improvements in tone, texture and tightening and requires four to six days of recovery time.
Photo Dynamic Therapy
Photo Dynamic Therapy is used to treat sun damaged skin and improve skin texture, reduce pore size, minimize irregular pigmentation and stimulate collagen production to help restore the natural beauty of the skin. PDT also can be used to manage actinic keratosis, and non-melanoma skin cancers, stimulate new pigment for the treatment of Vitiligo and destroy bacteria that causes inflammatory acne. A series of two to four treatments are performed to achieve optimum results.
Photo Dynamic Therapy is a skin rejuvenation procedure that usually involves the application of a photosensitizer that is activated by a light treatment using laser, IPL or LED devices. The photosensitizer is applied one to four hours in advance of the treatment. Light treatment procedures with the IPL take about 15 and 20 minutes and usually do not require anesthesia. Treatments with the Omnilux light take 30 minutes for the full face.
It is possible to experience mild to moderate discomfort such as a burning sensation, pricking, tingling, itching or pain at the treatment site. In some cases there is numbness, a change in color of the treated skin, scaling, crusting or swelling.
After the treatment, avoid exposure to the sun for at least 48 hours. It is normal for the treatment area to form a crust that must be left alone to heal properly. The treated area heals over a period of two to three weeks for PDT rejuvenation.
