Perlane
Benefits
Perlane is part of the Restylane family of dermal fillers. Perlane can add fullness and volume to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Perlane offers larger particles in its formula to penetrate deep into the dermis and superficial subcutis. Perlane gel particles are higher than in Restylane because the injection goes deeper into the dermis to combat wrinkles and folds. Results are immediate and can last up to 6 months.
Treatment
Treatment takes less than an hour, with little to no downtime. During your cosmetic consultation, we will discuss the best options for you to meet your aesthetic goals. The treated area will be cleanse and prepared for injection. Anyone with an open infection should wait before being treated with any filler.
Recovery
Redness and swelling may occur in the treated area. Apply cold compresses to reduce redness and swelling. Avoid sun exposure and touching of the treated area. Redness, swelling and pain at injection site typically can last up to 7 days. After all side effects have subdued, you may return to your normal activities.
